Emergency services attended the scene of a collision in Plymouth this morning involving a car and a 10 year-old-child.
The collision took place on Poole Park Road earlier this morning, and police have confirmed that the child is believed to have sustained an arm injury, however it is not thought to be serious.
A passerby said they had seen the road blocked off and emergency services including police and ambulance on scene.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed at around 10am this morning that emergency services remained on scene on Poole Park Road.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Emergency services are currently in attendance on Poole Park Road following reports of a collision involving a car and a child.
“The 10-year-old child is believed to have sustained an arm injury – not thought to be serious.”
South Western Ambulance Service has been contacted for more information on the incident.
