Devon beaches on first weekend of rule of six

The sun is out and it is the first weekend that coronavirus restrictions have been relaxed so we can meet up with loved ones.

Many people have been enjoying being able to reunite with friends and family in outdoor spaces, in groups of six from six different households.

People are also able to meet up in larger groups if there are only two households present.

Thankfully, the weather is glorious this weekend making it easier to spend time outdoors with loved ones over the Easter Bank Holiday.

The Met Office predicts that today will be dry with “plenty of sunshine” but it will become patchy with cloud throughout the day.

The average temperature is 13C today but “feeling warmer in the sunshine”.

We’ve taken screenshots of some popular locations across Devon to show you how busy the area is as of early afternoon on Good Friday.
