Do not approach but call 999 if you see missing man

Police are looking for a missing man in the Dawlish area but warn not to approach him if he is spotted.

Devon and Cornwall Police tweeted the statement about the missing man Michael Mercury this evening (September 3).

He is described as a while male, 39 years old with a large build.

He is five foot seven inches tall, has facial stubble and is wearing black jogging bottoms, a black t-shirt which is possibly inside out showing bits of orange.

Police warn members of the public not to approach the man, but to call police on 999.

The tweet said: “Police seeking missing Michael Mercury in Dawlish area. Desc as white male, 39yrs, large build, 5’7” tall, facial stubble, black jogging bottoms, black t shirt, possibly inside out showing orange bits.

How do I report a person missing?
