A driver is said to be “very lucky” after their car rolled on the A390 in Tavistock this evening.
The road has now been closed between the B3362 and the A386 at Plymouth Road, near to Armada roundabout after the single-vehicle collision at around 8.48pm on Sunday.
Devon and Cornwall Police’s force incident manager, who oversees all live incidents across the region, said the driver was “very lucky” to have escaped the incident with minor injuries as the car had rolled.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue extracted the person from the vehicle and the road has been closed for recovery and investigations.

Online traffic information service Inrix reports: “A390 in both directions closed due to accident from B3362 to A386 Plymouth Road (Armada roundabout).”
