Friday evening saw Eastenders’ star Ross Kemp enjoying some cocktails in the city.
The acting legend was spotted at the Social Bar & Eatery Plymouth as he sipped on some mojitos
Many locals have said they were ‘gutted’ they didn’t get a peek at the celebrity.
In a post on their Facebook site, a worker from the venue wrote: “Ross Kemp was in last night on the Mojitos! #legend!
“Tonight we have equal legendary status with the lads of DancersHip! Upfront classic and soulful house all night long!”
People were quick to comment how upset they were at missing a glimpse of the actor with many wondering if he would be there again Saturday evening.
One person commented: “Oh my god he is too cool. Gutted to have missed him.”
With another person adding: “Why didn’t I know about this!”
It’s unclear why the star was in the city but he could have been enjoying a staycation from his family home in Berkshire.
Although he left the streets of Albert Square as Grant Mitchell back in 1999, he’s stayed on our screens as he’s filmed many investigative documentaries over the years.
He’s highlighted issues on homelessness, interviewed people affected by gang violence and has even gone on the frontline with the NHS as they prepared for and faced the pandemic.
Could he be in the city filming a new documentary or just here enjoying a breakaway?
The 57-year old isn’t the only celeb that’s been spotted across the county recently.
Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson took a trip to Exmouth beach with her partner Ryan Libbey as the pair took a snap by the sea showcasing her baby bump.
We also saw I’m a Celeb star and presenter Vernon Kay soak up some rays as he snapped a golden beach behind him with the iconic Thurlstone Rock in the distance.

It looks as though many well-known names and faces are making their way to the South West to enjoy a staycation.
We’ve also seen One Direction’s Niall Horan, singers Becky Hill and Joss Stone – who grew up in Devon – and husband and wife duo Giovanna and Tom Fletcher all make their way down here.
