
There’s been a huge emergency services operation on the Devon coast after police were notified just before 9am this morning (Saturday, June 27) following reports of a concern of welfare of a person on Exmouth seafront.
Police along with Exmouth and Beer Coastguard Rescue Teams and Air Ambulance assisted at the scene.
Police have currently sealed off the area as enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “We will issue updates as we have them.”
An eyewitness at the scene described it as a “huge emergency operation”.
They added: “There’s two lifeboats, helicopters, police and ambulances. Air ambulance also searching.”
