With the Met Office confirming temperatures reached a blistering 31c yesterday (June 24), it is no surprise to learn that residents flocked to beauty spots in Devon.
Sadly, beach-goers who spent the day basking in the sun, have left a little more than just footprints in the sand.
Glass bottles, barbecues, boxes, bag, parasols and beach mats are just a handful of the rubbish items that were dumped along Exmouth seafront yesterday (June 24).

Residents of Exmouth who took a trip along the seafront this morning (June 25) have captured photographs of the ‘carelessly dumped’ rubbish that has been distributed along the beach.
Some of the passing locals have picked up several bags of the left over rubbish.
Additionally, The Quay in Exeter has also been used as a dumping ground for waste, following the warm weather yesterday.
Over 20 seagulls have been photographed snacking on the discarded waste.
