Man hangs from van bonnet in Plymouth road rage clash

A dramatic road rage incident in Plymouth city centre left one man hanging from a car bonnet before being thrown off. Police are appealing for witnesses after a clash between two men on Exeter Street on Monday August 1.

Between 2pm and 2.15pm two vehicles, a blue Mazda and a small white van, stopped at traffic lights on Gdynia Way and Exeter Street. There was reportedly ‘an altercation’ that led to the white van driving off with the passenger of the Madza on its bonnet.

The van then allegedly raced along Exeter Street for 50-100 yards before stopping, resulting in injuries on the man’s legs when they were thrown off.
