Man in 20s injured after collision with a car in Stonehouse

A pedestrian has been injured this evening after a collision with a car in Stonehouse.

The crash happened at about 7.45pm near Durnford Street Roundabout, at the end of Union Street.

The Force Incident Manager for Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed officers had been alerted to an incident in Newport Street.

“We were called to reports of a car in collision with a pedestrian,” said the FIM. “A man in his 20s has suffered an injured ankle.”

He was not able to confirm whether the injured man would need hospital treatment but his injuries are not believed to be serious.
