Police have arrested a man in connection with a road incident in Plymouth which happened over the weekend.
Another man, aged in his 50s, sustained minor injuries in a car collision on Lakeside Drive, Ernesettle, at around 11.10am on Sunday September 27.
Officers arrested a 56-year-old local man on suspicious of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent following the incident.
He has since been released on police bail until October 24.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: ”The car collided with the man who sustained minor injuries.”
The force added: ”Police are appealing for witnesses over an alleged attempt to cause grievous bodily harm in the Ernesettle area of Plymouth.
”Officers are investigating an incident in which a man aged in his 50s sustained minor injuries in a collision with a car in Lakeside Drive at around 11.20am on Sunday September 27.
”A 56-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
“He has been released on police bail until October 24.”

Police have also issued an appeal for witnesses for the incident as officers continue their investigations.
