Four arrested after man left with injuries needing hospital treatment
Police have confirmed that they were called to Kinnaird Crescent at just before 4.30am today following reports of a disturbance at a property.
They arrived to find a 35-year-old man suffering a number of injuries which at the time they believed to be serious.
Four people at the address – two men, aged 39 and 31 and two women aged 27 and 24 – were all arrested on suspcion of causing grievous bodily harm. they were all taken to Charles Cross police station custody suite for interview where they currently remain.
Police have said the four people arrested and the injured man are believed to be known to each other.
The alleged victim is understood to have been discharged from hosptial as his injuries were not as serious as first thought.
A police spokesperson said that the scene has been secured by police and the cordon will remain in place for some time as investigators gather evidence.
They said that Crime Scene Investigators will also attend the property later this morning to carry out forensic examination of the scene.
