Argyle’s draws were against visiting Crewe Alexandra (1-1) and Accrington Stanley (1-1).

The Pilgrims also went to Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup third round and triumphed 3-2 before losing 2-1 to Premier League side Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in the last 32.

Was the winner of the Plymouth Live award for December and he had another very strong month in January.

Who was your Argyle player of the month for January?

The Scottish striker netted twice in January, doubling his tally for the season, with goals against Huddersfield and Swindon.

Even though he has not got that many goals this season, his hard-working performances up front and ability to create chances for his team-mates has been praiseworthy.

That led to his season-long loan from Blackpool being turned into a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee, with Hardie signing a contract until June 2023.

Another excellent month for Argyle’s top scorer, who netted three times and took his tally for the season in all competitions to 16. He also celebrated his 21st birthday too!

Jephcott continues to show the uncanny knack of being in the right place at the right time to convert chances in and around the six-yard area.

He now has a good chance of becoming the first Argyle player since Reuben Reid in 2014/15 to hit 20 goals in a season.

Unlike the other three nominees, Argyle’s midfield playmaker did not get among the goals in January.

In fact, he has only netted once this season, and that was in the 3-2 Carabao Cup first round win against Queens Park Rangers at Home Park in September.

However, Mayor produced some eye-catching performances last month, tormenting opposition defences, none more so than in the 2-2 draw with Accrington when he was simply outstanding.

The deadline for votes is 9am on Thursday, February 4.
