Drake Circus is calling for young people in Plymouth to take the first step in their retail careers by registering for its free training programme, Bright Lights Starting Out in Retail.
The two-week online programme starts on Monday 15th August and aims to give young people in Plymouth access to high quality training, including support with interviews and CV writing, as well as mental health and wellbeing and one-to-one coaching opportunities.
Those who complete the programme will also have the opportunity to secure a permanent role with some of Drake Circus’ biggest brands including JD Sports, Superdry, Superdrug and Boom Battle Bar.
The Bright Lights Starting Out in Retail programme is open to anyone over the age 18. Anyone interested in applying for the programme or finding our more should call 0191 261 8456 or email brightlights@thelaunchgroup.co.uk before Tuesday 16th August.
The course is funded by Drake Circus’ owner British Land and delivered in partnership with The Launch Group – a job recruitment solutions agency.
All those who complete the training will receive six months of post-programme support including access to The Launch Group’s e-learning portal, and support from them should their initial job search be unsuccessful.
